This is going on my tumblr again.
and some of the months in-between
I didn’t see that this was tagged for me but ahhhhhh
I just want to talk about this picture for a second. so today i went to Warped Tour and during Sleeping with Sirens this handicapped man was trying to go on the side where i was to see them since he couldn’t see over the crowd. But for safety reasons he has to move. So apparently he was in the back of the crowd and a group of guys (one of them who was my friend) asked him if he’d like to crowd surf, then lifted him up. Kellin stopped the song and made sure everyone safely delivered the guy to him. He had him go up on stage with him and sit there the whole time they did their set. I was crying my eyes out because it was such an amazing thing. People in this music scene get such a bad wrap because of all the tattoos and screaming in the music they play or listen to. When actually we are all a family. A family bonded by music that had pulled us out of darkness and been there through all of the pain and sorrow we’ve felt in our lives. Some people don’t understand what these bands mean to us and they never will. Tonight Oliver Sykes told all of us that we should be proud to be labeled “freaks” no one will ever understand our bond with music, with these bands. Just remember you’re never alone in this world. All of us, your family, will always be there to lift you up.
I’m gonna cry
I WAS THERE THIS WAS MY DATE
